Bamboo Jamboo Benefit October 12-14 Preview, DeLeon Springs, Florida

Coming up this weekend Friday October 12- Sunday October 14 in DeLeon Springs, Florida at the Bamboo Arts Celebration Center will be Bamboo Jamboo; a grassroots, community event with 3 nights of music, healing, camping, yoga, kayaking, vendors and more.  The festival will also be dedicated towards healing and health practices.

The festival will give proceeds to benefit the Bamboo Arts Center. The Bamboo Art Center is an open community center with yoga, organic garden, sweat lodge.  Bamboo Jamboo will hold several healing, helpful and spiritual events including drum circles, laughter yoga, crystal bowl meditations, qi-gong, massage, kayaking, kirtan, drum circles, live art, community mural, and open mics/jams. Saturday night there will be free face and body painting and a Hallowboo costume Party- so bring your dress ups and costumes.  A Swap Meet will be hosted during the event by Ian Jon Maikisch.
The weekend should be a good, fun, and backyard vibe camping experience.  Music will play Friday through Sunday on two different stages, including bands Josh We Know, Displace, Mob, Green Sunshine, Cherri Ryno, and more, especially local, bands.

During Bamboo Jamboo artists are encouraged to bring any form of live art or art making to share (please RSVP by messaging Josh We Know).  Bamboo Jamboo is entirely a volunteer, benefit-based event. All instructors and artists there will be volunteering please feel free to tip them if you enjoyed your time. The gates open at 12pm on Friday at the arts center.  Entrance is free but a donation is suggested. All proceeds from the weekend will benefit the Bamboo Arts Center and other Florida and National non-profits. Recommended donations are $10 for day guests ($5 Friday) or $40 for camping all three days (or $20 per night). Anything above and beyond and all cash donations will be accepted and appreciated at the front gate.
