Some Things That Make me Happy

I decided after reading some other posts to make a list of things that make me happy. There are tons of lists out there that are suggestions and good ideas, but this a more personalized list for me that I wanted to share. .. What makes you happy?

Scent of lavender, coconut, and good men’s cologne. Smell of pools, ocean, clean house. My boyfriend. My dogs. When they smile at me. When they look cute. When we feel happy. Caring friends, too. Snuggling. Watching movies and snuggling. Hugs. Kisses. I love you’s. Taking a photograph that I feel like is a one in a million. Good food. Organics. Watermelon in season. Pumpkin. Fruit. Creamy food- cream cheese, blue cheese and bacon. Chocolate and pastries. Bed. Sleep. Naps. Nesting into my pillows and blankets. Freshly cleaned sheets in a made bed. Meditating. Art. Painting. Photography. Design. Animation. Museums. Galleries. Most of all when I’ve completed a project or finished a craft and it feels complete and good. Memories- memory boxes. Photos. Scrapbooks. Old kept notes and letters. Spas. Pedicures. Massages. Haircuts with divine conditioners and rinses. Facials. Relaxation. Passion. Love and life that always comes around to show you the world is full of beauty. Laughter and remembering things are funny. Finally, for today, getting things done! Finishing check lists that sort of thing.

Recent Colors & Bottles Classes

Aside from becoming the new main Host of C&B events for Orlando I have also been able to paint some events- much fun! Getting some great repeat customers! Here are the photos from my classes 🙂

Colors & Bottles 7/7/13 event @ Pine 22

After a short little vacation and Sara covering events- today I was back at first Colors & Bottles painting class and we painted my new wine bottle picture- fun class! Happy Late July 4th to you readers out there!

Colors & Bottles Class @ Taste Restaurant Orlando

This was our first event at the venue- Taste Restaurant- http://www.tastecp.com.

Really enjoyed our event here- there is a rotating gallery of local art! The restaurant also hosts a variety of other events including live music, jazz Monday nights, science talks, burlesque shows and much more! And of course the food- you walk in and smells delicious. The owners are from Trinidad and Jamaica and the menu is Caribe faire. However, there is plenty more on the menu for the non-spice fans including a cheese and crab tarte appetizer, spring rolls, salads, chicken, fish and a bar! Yummm!

Colors & Bottles Class 4/25/13 @ Sleeping Moon Cafe

Here are photos from the Colors & Bottles Class 4/25/13 @ Sleeping Moon Cafe. I absolutely love this painting and enjoyed teaching just as much! 🙂 I originally painted it with my parents in mind. My parents love birds and my mom was/is such a nest maker! When my brother got married she wore this beautiful birds nest necklace- it had three eggs and she has three children. 🙂 Recently I saw my mother in law in a similar necklace- three eggs, three children. 🙂
